The Challenge
Driver onboarding in the trucking industry is historically a nightmare of printed documents, missing files, and disorganized folders. Fleet managers were spending hours every week chasing paperwork, while drivers complained about repetitive submissions and delays in approval.
Ready App needed a mobile-first tool that could digitize the entire experience — from uploading to verifying to storing documents — while being simple enough for field teams to adopt without training.
What We Did
Ready App and B&co. shared a common goal: to eliminate onboarding friction by replacing outdated, manual processes with an intuitive mobile-first experience. Our collaboration began in early 2024 and focused on building a scalable app that met the day-to-day needs of fleet operators and drivers alike.
Mobile Platform Development – B&co. led the design and development of a cross-platform mobile app using Flutter. The app supports Android and iOS with a consistent interface, allowing drivers to upload documents, track onboarding status, and receive real-time updates regardless of device.
Document Control & Verification – A secure backend infrastructure was built to handle document storage, expiry checks, and version control. Admins and recruiters were given dedicated dashboards to oversee onboarding progress and identify gaps in real time.
Workflow Automation – Push notifications, smart reminders, and automated status updates were implemented to reduce manual follow-ups. Role-based access ensured that recruiters, fleet managers, and drivers saw only what was relevant to them — keeping the process clean and streamlined.
